BinSentry welcomes Tim Karl, VP of Milling, and Eric Adamson, VP of Product, to its leadership team

BinSentry, a global ag-tech leader providing data-driven solutions to transform animal feed management, is pleased to announce the addition of two key members of our leadership team: Tim Karl, Vice President of Milling, and Eric Adamson, Vice President of Product.

Karl brings over 20 years of experience helping leading agribusinesses, feed manufacturers and ingredient suppliers – including Cargill and Alltech – foster team performance and business growth. Adamson is a former agriculture technology Founder, and ex-advisor to Fortune 500 companies in agriculture and energy. He is passionate about improving the world’s agriculture industry using technology. Prior to joining BinSentry, he co-founded Tortuga AgTech, the world’s leading fruit harvesting robotics company, which was acquired by Oishii Farm Corporation in 2025.

“I’m really excited to welcome Tim and Eric to help us accelerate the next phase of BinSentry’s growth,” said Ben Allen, BinSentry’s Chief Executive Officer. “With BinSentry tech installed on over 55,000 feed bins across North America, we’re doing things in this space that no other company has the technology or the capacity to do. Tim and Eric bring the expertise we need to push ahead even further, especially on the milling side of the business where we’re rolling out our ProSense HD platform and Control Tower software.”

BinSentry’s industrial sensors and proprietary software monitor feed and ingredient levels with 99% accuracy, eliminating the need for manual inventory checks and preventing costly feed outages. Paired with a mobile dashboard, the technology allows feed mills and large agricultural businesses to better forecast demand, reduce waste, and improve profitability.

Karl leads BinSentry’s milling strategy, which is focused on helping feed mills transition away from manual bin checks and high-risk climbs into safer, data-driven inventory management.

“Until now, the animal feed supply chain has been very reactive, with lots of same-day orders and emergency deliveries. This leads to ingredient outages, inefficient scheduling and trucking, and poor procurement planning that drive up costs,” Karl said.

“ProSense HD changes all that. We’re replacing manual inventory checks with automated, real time data. This gives mills the tools they need to shift from a one-day reactionary supply chain to a Vendor Managed Inventory system with 72 hours visibility or more. It’s a huge operational advantage with better decision-making based on real-time data, safer processes, and tangible ROI.”

Adamson said BinSentry technology is an elegant solution to a critical problem: the lack of visibility in the animal feed supply chain. By bringing real-time inventory data and operational efficiency to the supply chain, the BinSentry platform offers the fastest way for feed companies, swine and poultry integrators to cut costs and improve their bottom line.

“One of the things that attracted me to BinSentry is how well we are growing our technology platform to solve our customer’s difficult problems, at an unmatched industry-level scale,” Adamson said.

“I'll be working closely with the leadership group and all the teams involved in the customer experience to ensure our product and technology are delivering value every day. I’ll also be focusing on new products we’ll be building over the next three to five years to help our customers do business better.”
